T. rex (Part 3)
Although Jurassic World introduced several new prehistoric reptiles (and one that never existed in real life, the Indominus rex), fan-favourite dinosaurs also made a welcome return – including the iconic T. rex.
Neptune
Beneath the Dormitory on the Spencer estate is the Aqua Ring – an underground aquarium of sorts where Umbrella scientists conducted research on aquatic animals. In particular, great white sharks were injected with the t-Virus, creating a new B.O.W. codenamed F1-03 Neptune after the God of the Sea in Roman mythology.
Yoshi Valley N64
Welcome to the beautiful Yoshi Valley, a nature reserve dedicated to wild Yoshis. There’s lots of gorgeous scenery to admire here – a lovely grassy meadow, a cascading waterfall, and a rushing river can all be seen as you race around this mountain valley under the late afternoon sun.
T. rex (Part 2)
The Lost World takes place on Isla Sorna, or Site B, another dinosaur-inhabited island – this time, with no fences in sight. And whereas the first Jurassic Park movie featured one T. rex, The Lost World, in the typical sequel fashion of going bigger and bolder than their predecessors, has multiple T. rexes.
3DS Music Park
Music Park is a whimsical course that takes place on a winding circuit floating in space. As you would expect from the name, pretty much everything on this track is music-themed.
Karazhan (Part 2)
In the southern reaches of Deadwind Pass, a thick, massive protrusion of white stone and dark mortar rises into the sky, scaling higher than the surrounding hills.. This is Karazhan, once the seat of Medivh, the Last Guardian.
GC Sherbet Land
Sherbet Land is a beautiful course covered in a blanket of snow. Fireworks can be seen in the night sky above, along with a dancing, ethereal aurora. Don’t be lulled into complacency, though – the ice is very slippery, and careless driving may result in multi-kart pileups.
T. rex (Part 1)
The mighty T. rex became the standout dinosaur seen in Jurassic Park – and arguably the franchise as a whole. Find out what the movies got right, what they got wrong, and how they brought it to life using both groundbreaking CGI and state-of-the-art animatronics.
Plant 42
The t-Virus has a substantial and powerful effect on plants as well as animals, as this giant, aggressive, carnivorous plant proves. To defend itself, Plant 42 will whip at intruders with thorny vines or attempt to seize them around the neck and strangle them with its incredible strength.
DS Wario Stadium
Like Mario Kart Stadium, this track feels like it was always meant to be a racetrack. There are large stands full of spectators, huge billboards and spotlights, and Mario Kart TV camera vans filming the action.
